-picture of wolf in sheep's clothing
-picture of sheep
HOLD UP PICTURE OF SATAN
Who is this? Is he good or bad?
Notice the two sides. One side dark and on fire. The other side light and in glory.
Satan is all bad, all evil, all darkness. There is nothing good about him. But he disguises himself as an angel of light. He pretends to be good.
Why does Satan do this? To fool people into thinking he is good. To stop people from realizing he is evil and bad. So people don't guard themselves against him.
HOLD UP PICTURE OF WOLF
What do you see in this picture? Look carefully.
I see a bunch of sheep. And what is this right in the middle?
It is a wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. It is a wolf pretending to be a sheep.
Why would a wolf do this? To fool the sheep so he can attack them and destroy them and devour them. To fool the sheep so they don't realize he is there. To fool the sheep so they don't guard themselves against him.
HOLD UP PICTURE OF SHEEP
Who in this building are sheep?
You boys and girls are sheep/little lambs.
Your parents are sheep.
This means Satan and his wolves wants to fool you.
This means Satan and the wolves wants to attack you.
Satan wants to fool us.
Do we believe him when he says Jesus did not come as a little baby?
Do we believe him when he says Jesus did not die for our sins?
Do we believe him when he says it is good to tell lies?
Do we believe him when he says God did not make us?
We need to guard and protect ourselves when Satan tries to fool us.
How? The Bible. When we know the Bible, when we go to Sunday School, when we listen to the Bible being read at home, we defend ourselves against the attacks of Satan and his wolves. Because we know the truth.
