-block of wood
A Today is Pentecost Sunday. Who can tell me what happened on Pentecost? (LOOK FOR VOLUNTEERS TO SAY: "The Holy Spirit came").
Yes, on Pentecost Sunday the Holy Spirit came and He lives in the heart of every believer.

B I have something to show you (SHOW BLOCK OF WOOD). This doesn't look like much, does it? It is only a block of wood. What can I do with this wood? What is it good for? I suppose I can use it to make a fire when I am camping.
Or, I can take this block of wood and a carving knife and turn it into this (HOLD UP DUCK).
Imagine that: an old block of wood (HOLD IT UP) turned into a beautiful duck (HOLD IT UP).

C Because of sin, you and I are like this block of wood (HOLD IT UP). We lie, we disobey mom and dad, we steal cookies from the cookie jar, we fight with our brother or sister.
Today is Pentecost Sunday. We remember that God sent His Holy Spirit into our hearts. Because of the Holy Spirit everyone who believes in Jesus is changed, just like this block of wood, into something new and beautiful like this duck (HOLD UP DUCK).

D Boys and girls, I want you to remember this: because of the Spirit we are a new creation. Because of the Spirit, you and I are changed just like this block of wood is changed (HOLD IT UP) into this duck (HOLD IT UP).
