based on Genesis 17:1-2

Needed:
-video cam
-egg & bowl
-thread & needle & rope
-toothbrush & toothpaste

GOOD MORNING, BOYS AND GIRLS

A Hold up video cam. Anyone know what this is? It looks like an eyeball, doesn't it? It is a video camera you hookup to your computer. With it you turn your computer into a camera.

Last week we learned that God is "the God who sees me." He has His camera, His eye, on us all the time and sees everything we do.

B Today we learn something else about God.
I need 3 volunteers.
volunteer 1 - break egg
volunteer 2 - string needle
volunteer 3 - put toothpaste on toothbrush
Give new instructions:
volunteer 1 - put egg back together
volunteer 2 - put rope through needle
volunteer 3 - put toothpaste back in tube
Conclusion: It's impossible for people to do these jobs, isn't it?!

C This morning the Bible tells us God is El-Shaddai, which means God is almighty. Can you say that name: "El-Shaddai." It means there is nothing God cannot do.

One day Jesus told His disciples about a camel going through the eye of a needle. The disciples were very astonished when Jesus said this. Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible" (Matt 19:26).

Boys and girls, God is almighty. He can do anything. He can put a cracked egg back together. He can thread a rope or a camel through the eye of a needle. He can put toothpaste back in a tube. What is impossible for man is possible for God.

Can you remember that? God is almighty! He is "El-Shaddai."
